Meet Our Team: Our Corporate Strategy team leads Pega's strategic planning process and corporate-wide transformation to operate as an as-a-Service company, including the development and execution of the annual as-a-Service initiatives. Our responsibilities including managing the strategic planning process, developing strategies for market expansion, and providing the execution muscle needed to... achieve our most important strategic initiatives. The team is comprised of alumni from top management consulting firms with a deep passion for information technology and significant operational experience. This position provides unparalleled senior executive exposure an avenue to unique operational roles at Pega. Picture Yourself at Pega: As the Corporate Strategy Director, you will work closely with senior management to formulate strategy and to drive and implement strategic investment decisions. Your role will include developing deep understanding of industry trends and the competitive landscape and performing quantitative and qualitative analysis on core strategic issues. You will work in a collaborative and cross-functional team environment on a daily basis. What You'll Do at Pega: Lead a wide range of strategy projects by structuring complex business problems, synthesizing relevant data, and delivering recommendations. You will play a leadership role in identifying and executing key strategic priorities. You will work on highly complex problems and gain insight into the strategic issues which are forefront on the minds of the senior leadership team. Assist functional teams with the execution of recommendations Stay abreast of industry, competitor, and consumer trends that can impact the business Who You Are: Ability to lead projects, which includes Structuring complex problems and developing testable hypotheses Indirectly managing a large, cross-functional team to achieve desired outcomes in a timely manner Communicating status and outcomes to senior leadership Driving change in the organization Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, while staying focused on the big picture Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong presence in front of senior executives Creative thinker with a bias for action Relentless but relationship-driven: ensures that debates and discussions lead to good outcomes and set a positive tone for cross-functional teams What You've Accomplished: MBA or demonstrated equivalent; undergraduate degree in computer science a plus 2 years of experience at a top-tier management consulting firm or within an equivalent corporate strategy group.
