You’ll also get to work at a company that cares about your career growth and will help you get the support you need to expand your possibilities.Click HERE to learn more about our Day 1 Benefits, 401k Program, Company Perks, Career Opportunities, Advancement Programs, Scholarships and more!• Follows game procedures when dealing Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Poker, Baccarat, and any other form or variation of table games.• Provides prompt, courteous and accurate dealing at assigned table(s).• Adheres to all West Virginia Gaming Commission, internal controls, and all other company and departmental policies and procedures as it relates to this position.• Performs accurate chip and cash transactions.• Receives wagers from customers and pays the appropriate game outcomes which are won by customers.• Maintains game security and protects company assets at all times.• Informs management of any irregular play; when a mistake is made; or, if a dispute arises.• Assists customers in understanding the rules and ensures adherence to established policies and procedures.• Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.• Ensures behavior and appearance are in compliance with established standards.• Maintains a professional work environment with management and staff.• Maintains complete confidentiality of all company information at all times.• Participates in meetings and training as required.• Performs all job duties in a safe and responsible manner and reports safety hazards immediately.• Performs other duties as may be assigned by department and/or company management.To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must successfully complete dealer training or have previous casino dealing experience. Must be able to successfully pass dealer assessment and audition. Must be fast and accurate in handling cash.LANGUAGE SKILLSMust be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; effectively communicate and present information and respond to questions from supervisors, managers, fellow employees and/or the general public.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to accurately calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs.REASONING ABILITYAbility to interpret and follow through on a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSMust obtain licensing with the West Virginia Lottery and Racing Commissions every year of employment.OTHER QUALIFICATIONSMust be a minimum of 21 years of age. Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekend hours and overtime as business needs dictate. Speaks clearly and politely; responds well to questions; and, contributes to building a positive team spirit. Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees. Must be diplomatic and tactful.
