Position Summary:
The Executive Assistant supports the principals and back-office operations of our growing firm. The successful candidate will have previous experience supporting executives with their scheduling and administrative needs, and experience demonstrating the utmost discretion with sensitive matters. We are looking for someone that can serve as a strategic thought partner to the executives they’re supporting , has strong communications and problem-solving skills, and is a professional, warm, and positive person.
Duties & Responsibilities
Executive Assistant:
- Serve as primary executive support to firm principals, preparing them for productive days and ensuring they’re focused on what’s important.
- Manage complex partner schedules, addressing calendar issues in timely manner, meeting planning, and preparation of materials as required
- Assist partners with Salesforce needs to ensure all data is accurate and completed in a timely manner
- Develop strategies to increase the efficiency of partner schedules
- Assist in client management and business development responsibilities, preparing research and materials for meetings and providing day and week ahead background briefings
- Support external networking opportunities
- Coordinate domestic and international travel
- Prepare and submit expenses for partnersComplete ad-hoc tasks as they arise
Operations:
- Support the daily operations of the firm in conjunction with the other operations team members
- Assist on various parts of the back-end operations, including but not limited to human resources administration, event planning, and expense filing management
- Manage Tier 1 IT requests including equipment/asset management, conferencing, printers, supporting IT onboarding, and escalating additional requests
- Regularly answer phones, greet guests, and cover the front desk when the receptionist is on break or out of the office
- Serve as back-up scheduling point of contact for other schedulers when they are out of the office
- Collaborate on internal teams, such as Training Committee and Events, to act as Operations Liaison
- Lead all work with external vendors and subscription services
- Assist with identifying and implementing process improvements throughout the Operations team
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, where a degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Political Science, Economics, or another relevant field is preferred
- 3-5 years of experience supporting executives Strong customer service mentality and ability to take initiative and solve problems creatively and efficiently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Strict attention to detail and strong organization skills, understanding the importance of accuracy in all internal and external matters
- High degree of integrity, with the ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple, competing demands
- Team player with a positive attitude and friendly demeanor
- Ability to embrace change and maintain a continuous learning mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- General comfort level with the technology required; experience with Google Apps and Box preferred
Salary Range:
The base salary range for this position will be up to $85,000 per year depending on a candidate’s experience and qualifications as they relate to the position.

Location:
This position is for US-based personnel, will be hybrid, and requires applicants to be in the Washington, DC metro area who can be in-person in-office four days per week.
