Penta Creative is the firm's in-house creative agency. Penta Creative blends the firm's hallmark analytical and communications expertise with storytelling, design, and technology to help clients increase the accessibility, reach, and emotional resonance of their ideas.


We work across the firm's client portfolio, developing creative solutions and campaign concepts that have the power to shape perspectives and inspire action on the issues that matter most. 


Summary of Position: Penta Creative is seeking a highly skilled Senior Designer with 3-6 years of experience designing at a creative agency or in advertising/marketing. This role requires an individual who can operate independently, take full ownership of their work, and drive creative projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in design, strong leadership abilities, and a proactive approach to developing innovative solutions.


Responsibilities:

- Exhibit an impeccable design sense and a discerning eye, pushing the boundaries of imagery, typography, color, pattern, and texture to build compelling creative solutions

- Independently manage and execute design projects, from initial concept through final production, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand guidelines

- Understand the specific business case and agreed-upon strategy for every project with an appreciation for the client’s business and industry

- Maintain an active awareness of visual trends, technological advances, and cultural nuances within the design landscape, seeking opportunities to innovate and disrupt

- Think beyond static executions to address deliverables like motion design and interactive design

- Collaborate productively and harmoniously with team members and other departments to ensure cohesive project execution

- Prioritize work effectively, managing time based on short and long-term needs, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality designs

- Own the material application of design ideas across multiple executions, including versioning, quality assurance, and proofing before final production

- Mentor and guide junior designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering their professional growth


Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field

- 5+ years of professional experience in design for a variety of applications at a creative agency, in-house marketing/advertising agency, or related field

- Proven ability to independently manage complex design projects and lead design initiatives

- Excellent judgment and imagination, with the ability to make strategic recommendations for visual elements in design systems, advertising campaigns, and presentations

- Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple competing assignments and manage time effectively

- Strong presentation skills and attention to detail, with a keen eye for design excellence

- Proactive, motivated, and self-starting, with a willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges

- Extremely detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

- Proficiency in essential digital tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Slack, Google Slides, PowerPoint, and Asana

- Experience with motion graphics or animation is a plus.

Salary Range:

The base salary range for this position will be $75,000 -$85,000, depending on a candidate’s experience and qualifications as it relates to the position.

This full-time position is remote.
