We work across the firm's client portfolio, developing creative solutions and campaign concepts that have the power to shape perspectives and inspire action on the issues that matter most. 


Position Summary: Penta Creative is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Creative Director to join our dynamic Creative team. This role requires an individual who can independently manage and oversee creative projects, providing visionary direction and ensuring the highest quality of work. The Senior Creative Director will be responsible for multiple client engagements and internal projects, operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role involves strategic decision-making, client relationship management, and creative team leadership.


A successful candidate has 8+ years of professional experience, including 4+ years of senior management experience in creative agencies or marketing/advertising, with a proven track record of directly managing teams and overseeing complex projects. They possess intellectual curiosity, demonstrate a strong willingness to take initiative, and excel in both independent work and collaborative team environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling campaigns or issues beyond consumer goods, such as public affairs/awareness campaigns or professional services, and possess a deep familiarity with public policy.


Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the strategic direction of multiple projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and scope of work agreements

- Independently oversee all components of project management, from strategy setting to execution, ensuring the team stays on track and meets client needs

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and questions, and maintaining strong client relationships.

- Monitor industry activities and media coverage relevant to clients' businesses to provide informed strategic recommendations

- Translate qualitative and quantitative research into compelling creative concepts that resonate emotionally and digitally.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to producers, designers, and other team members, fostering a collaborative and high-achieving team environment.

- Develop and present strategic proposals to potential clients, leveraging industry-specific research and assessments.

- Ensure all creative outputs align with Penta's standards and client brand guidelines, maintaining the highest quality of work.

- The Senior Director's role will be focused on leading the macro strategic choices within the realms of brand strategy, campaign development, advertising, and digital strategy, rather than on details of design or production. 


Qualifications:

Required:

- 8+ years of professional experience in brand strategy, marketing, advertising, or a related creative field, including 4+ years of management experience.

- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate talented, high-achieving teams, with a focus on empowering diverse personalities.

- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

- Proven ability to prioritize multiple competing priorities and manage time effectively.

- Strong interest and experience in creative content, with a focus on public affairs, public awareness campaigns, or complex issues such as healthcare or finance.

- Experience working in a client service environment, with a track record of successful client relationship management.

Preferred:

- Previous work on public affairs or public awareness campaigns, professional services, or complex issues like healthcare or finance

- Experience working on remote teams

Salary Range:

The base salary range for this position will be $140,000 -$190,000, depending on a candidate’s experience and qualifications as it relates to the position.

This full-time position is remote.
