Summary of Position: A successful candidate has 2-4 years of experience in video editing at a creative agency or in advertising/marketing. The candidate must have strong video editing and time management skills and the ability to interpret client needs. A successful candidate is intellectually curious, eager to learn and contribute, works well in teams, and is interested in developing creative solutions that help scale the reach and resonance of our client's ideas.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates an impeccable eye for detail and a strong sense of visual storytelling
- Edits and assembles raw footage into compelling video content for various platforms
- Collaborates with the creative team to understand project scope and objectives
- Uses motion graphics, sound design, and visual effects to enhance video narratives
- Maintains an active awareness of visual trends, technological advances, and cultural nuances within the video editing landscape
- Works productively and harmoniously as a teammate with those who share responsibility for day-to-day assignments
- Manages multiple projects simultaneously and meets deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ensures all deliverables meet the highest quality standards and are in line with the client’s vision and brand guidelines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years of experience in video editing at a creative agency, in-house marketing/advertising agency, or in a related field
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other related tools
- Good judgment and imagination to make recommendations for video content
- Strong understanding of video production processes, including pre-production, production, and post-production
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently manage projects
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with essential digital tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Slack, Google Slides, PowerPoint, and Asana
- Experience with motion graphics or animation is a plus

Salary Range:
The base salary range for this position will be $57,000 -$87,000, depending on a candidate’s experience and qualifications as it relates to the position.
