People Operations/Office Admin

Transfr is looking for a People Operations Administrator to join our growing team. This is a new role that will shape the direction of Transfr’s People and Culture efforts and ability to serve the business by onboarding and managing top talent within the organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the administration of all people operations systems for new hires, exits and periodic promotions and role changes, (i.e. Trainual, TriNet, Lever)
  • Update the Company’s organization charts regularly using LucidChart
  • Oversee the onboarding process: launch new hire paperwork, initiate background checks, enter new hires in Tranfr’s PEO portal, review I-9 documents, manage E-Verify, schedule onboarding sessions
  • Complete employee verifications and produce employment letters
  • Support the workflows of the employee life cycle: promotions, transfers, and off-boarding
  • Provide administrative support of the company’s NYC office including ordering supplies for the office, managing office access, greeting visitors and candidates who arrive to the office for interviews, also potential travel and scheduling support
  • Coordination support with external vendors and office events such as conferences, team buildings, or speaking engagements

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years in a People operations support or Office Management role, with proven ability to exercise sound judgment in assessing and determining how to handle employee queries
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Proactive, assertive, and self-motivatedData-driven with a willingness to identify process improvements and create new ways of solving problemsExcellent organizational, administrative, and problem solving skills
  • Thrive under pressure and have a willingness to roll with the punches
  • Operate with a high sense of ownership and urgency
  • Proficient in G-Suite (for calendar, email, and docs), Slack, and Zoom
  • Must be able to work from the company’s midtown NYC office a minimum of 3 days each week
