This role will also support the Quaker Sales Team by providing actionable insights to help drive the business both internally and externally, assist on new item assessment/presentations, help drive marketing and field execution, promotional planning and execution, as well as assist on presentations for customer meetings, external executive joint business plans and internal annual operating plans. This person will also assist in the management of internal and external communication of key metrics such as topline and bottom-line sales, margin %, market share, promotional analysis, etc. Role expectations also included cross-functional collaboration with the PFNA Supply Chain team. This role will provide a unique opportunity to gain exposure to both internal BU and Customer Field stakeholders. The right person for this role will be comfortable working in a fast-paced and high visibility account environment with a proficient knowledge of insights and analytics.ResponsibilitiesThis role will work closely with the Sr. Director of Sales and Director of Sales to drive the Quaker strategy and growth to the entire Quaker portfolio by:• Representing Quaker’s full portfolio of brands at Kroger• Supporting the Kroger Breakfast business, totaling $250MM+ annually• Developing full year plans complete with forecasting, scorecarding, promotional planning, new item planning/presenting and many other tasks• Developing and managing relationship with Kroger Category Managers• Delivering annual sales, volume, trade, and share targets• On-going analysis and review of business trends to identify gaps to plan and execution utilizing internal team reporting• Build and maintaining scorecards and trackers to support the business• Ensure stores maintain a strategic product mix through SKU optimization and data analyticsWork closely with field retail team to ensure strong communication and execution of programs• Plan, execute, and analyze key promotional activities and share recommendations based on findings to the sales team• Creating easy to customize selling stories leveraging all available selling materials and enablers for our Field Customer Managers• Managing relationships with the Kroger buying team through periodic meetings and reporting to ensure strong inventory and best in class execution• Ownership of the Flour and Cornmeal desk, totally $1MM annually• Forecasting and monitoring of shipments for new items and key promotional timeframesCompensation & Benefits• The expected compensation range for this position is between $66,300 - $125,900.• Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.• Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.• Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.• In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan and Car ProgramQualifications• Bachelor’s Degree at a minimum• 2-4 years of sales experience; preferably with a consumer packaged goods organization• Highly motivated individual with excellent communication, thought leadership, and analytical skills• Experience with Market6, IRI, and 84.51 is preferred• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)• Solid understanding of financials including P&L impact of sales decisions• Analytical Skills: ability to understand and translate performance, identify opportunity & risks, and make strong recommendations based on findings• Commitment and ability to succeed within a fast paced organization• Business & financial acumenEEO StatementAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.PepsiCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer: Female / Minority / Disability / Protected Veteran / Sexual Orientation / Gender IdentityIf you'd like more information about your EEO rights as an applicant under the law, please download the availableEEO is the Law&EEO is the Law Supplementdocuments.
