Controller
Per Scholas is seeking a Controller to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and financial policy compliance. The ideal candidate will be a nonprofit accounting and finance professional with leadership experience.
Skills
- Experience in non-profit accounting & finance
- Supervisory experience
- Budget management
- CPA or CMA designation preferred
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage Intacct)
- Strong communication skills

Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems
- Maintain internal control safeguards for revenue and expenditures
- Lead annual audit activities and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Manage team development and foster inter-departmental collaboration
Education
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration
- CPA or CMA designations preferred
