ResponsibilitiesPeraton is seeking a Systems Engineer/Splunk Administrator to support a critical mission of consequence within our Cyber Mission Business Unit in Annapolis Junction, MD. This work is performed at a contractor facility. The candidate's primary responsibility is to maintain and enhance the existing Splunk infrastructure in the enterprise. Responsibilities for System Engineer include the following:Support Splunk Enterprise Security Apply upgrades and patches as necessary to maintain system Troubleshoot logs and effectively communicate with teammates, both government and contractor, in an enterprise environment. Manage the administration Splunk deployments, including both operating system and application aspects. Analyze and resolve system performance issues (e.g. response time or timing problems, interface/integration problems, system bottlenecks, data flow issues).
