Supervisor Facility Operations (Onsite)

Job Description Description: Plans, designs and oversees the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities. This supervisory position will report to the site Facility Manager, Norman Coutu, at the Nashua NH, 65 Spit Brook Road location. The campus is located on an 86-acre site and includes a 510,000 square foot facility... The site houses multiple program and functional offices, includes approximately 80% of ES manufacturing, environmental, and laser labs. The site runs multiple shifts and houses approximately 1800 occupants, a regional data center, the ES President, Vice Presidents, and multiple Directors. The successful candidate will be part of a plant engineering team consisting skilled trades (HVAC Technicians, Plumbers, Electricians, Building Automation Technicians, Facility Mechanics, Power Plant and Chiller Plant Operators, and Chemical Hazardous Waste Handler), peer supervisors, Facility Engineers, Safety Health and Environmental Specialist, and Professional Administrative Support Personnel. The Plant Engineering team maintains and operates building infrastructure supporting a variety of spaces including offices, various classes of clean rooms, a Regional Data Center, DOD closed area manufacturing spaces, and specialty labs. Many of these spaces have 24/7 operations with defined temperature and humidity specifications. The successful candidate will have experience in and strong technical and operational knowledge of building system operations with heavy electrical aptitude including but not limited to: • Electrical distribution and maintenance for an industrial setting • Emergency generators and transfer switches • Addressable Fire Alarm Systems • Unitary Fire Suppression Systems • Site Grounds Maintenance including Snow Removal Operations by in house and out-sourced contractors • HVACR Equipment including but not limited to of DX package units, air cooled chillers, chilled water units, central chilled water plant with water-cooled centrifugal chillers. • Direct Digital Control Systems • Central Steam Plant with medium pressure boilers • Steam Distribution and condensate return systems • Compressed Air Systems and Distribution • Central House Vacuum Systems and Distribution • Central Chiller Plant • Fire protection systems including diesel fire pump, PIV's, Hydrants, and sprinkler protection • Waste Water PH adjust systems • Hazardous Gas Detection System(s) The successful candidate will have or require training in chemical emergency response (CERT) and as an incident commander. They will also be part of an Incident Response/Business Continuity Team requiring leading or a supporting role for a variety of scenarios that would disrupt building operations. The candidate must be familiar with a variety of regulatory requirements including but not limited to SPCC Plans, Above Ground Storage Tanks, Hazardous Waste Storage, Industrial Discharge Permit, and Lock Out/Tag Out. Additionally, they will possess a Hazardous Waste Coordinator Certification from the State of NH or be able to obtain one. Leading and executing Net Zero initiatives of complex operational controls of facilities infrastructure and associated manufacturing equipment. The successful candidate will have preferred experience in a supervisory role with direct reports of various technical expertise. The candidate must have a proven successful record of communication skills (verbal and written) with direct reports, building occupants, lab coordinators, functional managers and executive leadership. The successful candidate will also be comfortable with and have a working knowledge of, a variety computer software applications such as Microsoft (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Work Order System (Maximo), electronic time card systems (Auto Time) and other administrative tools. The candidate should have experience in following company process and procedures for writing and executing personnel reviews, conflict resolution, rewards and recognition, and labor compliance. The candidate is also required to pass company screening to obtain a Secret clearance for lab access. Required Education, Experience, & Skills • Bachelor Degree in an Engineering Discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) with 3+ year’s industrial building operational experience. • Associates Degree in technical building related discipline with 7+ years in industrial building operational experience. • Qualified licensed in a technical trade related to industrial building operation with 10+ years' experience. • Must have a current secret clearance Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills • Bachelor Degree in an Engineering Discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) with 3+ year’s industrial building operational experience. • Associates Degree in technical building related discipline with 7+ years in industrial building operational experience. Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $92290 - $156860 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
