This role will conduct export classification, support licensing, technical documentation review, and IT systems management in strict adherence to U.S. international trade laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical/engineering background and either trade compliance experience or an interest in learning and developing skills in trade compliance, with an ability to analyze complex information and a commitment to maintaining meticulous records.This position will support efforts pertaining to US government agencies across the intelligence, space, cyber, defense, and civilian markets.• This position offers the ability to telework at times but must be local to the DC Metro area.Responsibilities include:• Conduct classification determinations and provide technical guidance on export classification and licensing matters.• Conduct technical documentation review for Public Information Review Authorizations (PIRA).• Research and analyze technical information as it applies to U.S. international trade laws and regulations.• Assist with the implementation and testing of new trade compliance management tool and training program personnel in using the tool.• Assist in the review and approval of international shipments (exports and imports), foreign travel or foreign visitors, and provide guidance to ensure activities are following the regulations and any export authorizations.• Maintain export and import records per U.S. regulatory requirements and company policy.
