Head of Growth Marketing

XP.GG is Perion’s flagship platform—An immersive new way to play that allows every gamer to complete challenges and win prizes, all while playing the world's largest video games. 

Supported titles include Fortnite, Valorant and Overwatch 2.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Growth Champion to help us level up customer acquisition through creative experimentation and bold hacking strategies. You naturally see the whole playing field, with Retention always top of mind. You know how to engage the customer, guiding them on an epic journey from player to brand ambassador, ensuring they stay with us for the long haul. 

Attack Zones:

  • Using growth hacks, you’ll tap into emerging marketing channels, favouring quick small experiments over larger campaigns:
    • Join forces with key stakeholders to ideate on campaigns, and execute rapid experiments across various channels and product features, focusing on achieving maximum impact with minimal cost
    • Get creative and hack traditional marketing methods, such as viral loops, referral programs with social gamification, user-generated content contests etc,  that will engage our audience at every customer touchpoint
    • Partner with cross-functional teams - product, engineering, marketing - to implement new ideas that fuel the growth of the XP.GG and keep players engaged with its evolving features
    • Be comfortable rolling your sleeves up and running with campaigns end to end, leveraging the wider marketing team for support as needed

  • Wield your data superpower to influence and optimise campaign decisions:
    • Track player behaviour across campaigns, optimise and iterate based on performance metrics
    • As a team, we are not married to our ideas. You let data inform the direction, and move rapidly based on user feedback and insights
    • Draw insights from all data points - including  paid media, KOL, and content marketing 
    • Report on acquisition and revenue metrics

  • Work with our existing partnerships team to forge strategic alliances with other brands, influencers, and KOLs to broaden reach and gain access to new audiences: 
    • Form partnerships that create a win-win scenario, such as cross promotions, bundled offerings or co-branded campaigns 
    • Keep your eye on performance metrics to ensure that partnerships drive tangible results
    • Explore unique, tailored campaigns with each partner that align with their audience whilst promoting our product

  • Be the bridge between the product and marketing teams, we are all on this journey together
  • Lead the marketing team, and work closely with stakeholders to move from ideation to execution quickly
  • Start small, level up fast; and create scaleable strategies that work
  • Make data-backed decisions to lower customer acquisition costs while increasing customer lifetime value 
  • Embrace ambiguity, always seeking the next opportunity to improve our impact
  • Stay curious, ask the right questions, and listen to understand 
  • Be Ambitious 
  • Educate yourself in blockchain marketing strategies, and share this knowledge with the wider team (bonus if you have this experience already)

  • To walk us through your growth hacking strategies and plays, what worked and what didn’t, highlighting how these reduced CAC, increased CLTV and improved retention
