Personal/Travel Assistant

Team Overview:

This role will work for the family office of the CEO of Masterworks, based out of New York City. The role will be shared between the Masterworks office and family office (team of seven).

Position Overview:

We are seeking a replacement for a Personal Assistant who was previously performing these duties. The successful candidate will be willing to work 24x7 when the principal is traveling (monitoring flights, changing schedules last minute, and having an “always-on” mentality) and from home during other hours.

The position is a hybrid role, located in NYC but working from home part-time or when it is not necessary to come into the office.

There is a close working relationship between this person, the principal, and the NYC House Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Book all travel for principal
• Vacation house rentals, and coordinating travel between family and friends
• Event planning (usually flying-in to help coordinate) for larger events
• Book and change restaurant reservations
• Purchasing (wardrobe, gifts for friends and family, etc.)

Requirements or Skill Sets:

• College degree
• 5+ years working as a travel coordinator or concierge for high-end clientele
• Always-on, 24/7 mentality. Will be required to work odd hours when principal is traveling or overseas
• Familiar with technology. Comfortable communicating via email and Slack, using Google Docs, and spreadsheets
• Cost-conscious - spend money wisely and within budget
• Excellent written communication skills
• Self-starter attitude
