Job Description
In Fugro Geoconsulting our geoscientists and engineers have expertise in guiding data collection programs, identifying and analyzing geohazards, advising on foundation siting and design, and routing roads, pipelines and cables.
The Personnel Scheduler will be responsible to communicate with key stakeholders in the business and be involved in the daily coordination of the logistics functions ensuring agreed quality, employee satisfaction, safety, and personnel targets are met by matching the workforce with project requirements.
Job Requirements
  • Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk.
  • Work together with managers and supervisors in day-to-day coordination and management of the offshore project backlog, and our Fugro staff and contractors (source personnel from third party providers as required) that will support our offshore geophysical and geotechnical projects in keeping with a dynamic vessel schedule.
  • Plan crew changes in advance of crew rotations to ensure proper crew are maintained on all assigned vessels.
  • Keep stakeholders well informed the offshore project status at agreed intervals.
  • Liaise with offshore staff regarding crew changes, next offshore trip etc., process expenses and assist with any queries from offshore staff as required.
  • Attends operations and backlog meetings.
  • Assist with preparing POs, and track and check invoices for third party providers;
  • Assists with coordination of field crew changes, which may include but not limited to arranging journey management plans, transportation, hotel accommodations, and airfare;
  • Communicates and collaborates well across functions with administration, QHSSE, IT, technical, and other Fugro department logistics teams;
  • Ensure that there is an efficient process for skilled crew to attain and retain all the correct certifications, PPE, and visas and documentation in line with Company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and organize computer inventory and other misc. office equipment, liaise with Fugro’s IT team, and support mobilization and demobilization of offshore equipment.
  • Provides back up relief for office manager upon request.
  • Assist with onboarding new hires.
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
  • The role necessitates inter-departmental collaboration, the incumbent will be expected to embrace this and manage inter-departmental relationships accordingly.
  • Performs other duties or completes special projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions.
  • Possess the ability to obtain a valid passport for international travel.
  • Possess a Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • Possess a high school diploma or Associate’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent from a two-year college degree.
  • Have 3 years or more experience in scheduling offshore personnel or role requiring high-level administrative support.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams, and internet browsers (Microsoft Edge, Chrome, or Firefox).
