Organizational Development Specialist

phia is hiring an Organizational Development (OD) Specialist who can perform organizational assessments to promote and lead change management initiatives for our Federal customer. The role involves providing guidance and assistance to both employees and management during the change process, and ensuring that all changes are successfully implemented. The position offers hybrid flexibility within the DMV (DC/MD/VA) Metro area.

• Lead and/or support operations organization design projects at all levels of the organization from scoping to delivery; specifically, organizational assessment, development of design options, recommendations, and implementation support 
• Ensure the design of organization structures and roles are configured to deliver on sub-division strategy and in alignment with division and agency goals 
• Lead and/or contribute to building a sustainable internal OD infrastructure including tools, resources, processes and methodologies 
• Contribute to the successful design and operation of an OD engagement model with HR and operations 

• Minimum 3 years direct experience leading or supporting organization design projects; mix of other comparable experience may be considered 
• Experience working with models that address and ensure alignment between key organizational elements such as strategy, capabilities, structure, processes, rewards and people practices 
• Demonstrated experience with organization design including operating models, organization structure design and role design in large matrixed organizations 
• Federal consulting experience required 

• U.S. citizenship
• Public Trust with the ability to obtain or maintain TS/SCI

• Strong background in conducting organizational assessments and diagnostics 
• Strong facilitation skills including design and delivery of workshop sessions 
• Bachelors in Organizational Psychology or related discipline
