Position Overview

Phil is seeking a talented Pharmacy Wholesale Technician to work at a closed door prescription drug wholesale distribution center. 

This is an exciting role that offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the success of Phil. As the Wholesale Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Managing day to day inventory tasks

• Ordering and receiving drugs from manufacturers 

• Maintaining adequate stock levels for drugs packaging, and office supplies 

• Ensuring proper temperature and humidity controls for drug storage

• Processing purchase orders, invoices, and credits to and from vendors

• Packing sales orders quickly and efficiently with accuracy in mind 

• Completing all tasks with consideration for regulatory compliance at the state and federal level

• Building strong relationships using spoken and written communication with vendors, customers, couriers and colleagues

Working Hours: 

• 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday to Friday

• No weekends

• 40hrs per with no overtime opportunity

• In office, no work from home

Pay Range: 

• $20-$22 with no prior experience

• $22-25 with experience 

Qualifications:

• The ability to adapt to mid-level software programs

• Prior MS Office, Google Suite knowledge

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written 

• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs throughout the day with little to no assistance 

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

• Detail oriented and accuracy driven  

• California Pharmacy Technician License, preferred but not required 

• General pharmacy knowledge, preferred but not required

• PTCB License, preferred but not required 

The Perk: 

Phil will cover the costs to become licensed as a California Designated Representative through the CA State Board of Pharmacy. 

• Fees covered include the application, livescanning services, photos, and additional required courses

• The application will require 1 year of PAID experience in the past 3 years in a pharmacy or drug distribution center licensed by the CA State Board of Pharmacy

• Candidate is eligible to apply asap if they already have the 1 year of experience 

• Candidate can apply after 1 year of working at WWS with no other experience in a licensed setting
