Job Description: Medical AssociateOverview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Associate to join our healthcare team. The Medical Associate will provide a combination of clinical and administrative support to healthcare providers, ensuring the smooth operation of medical services and optimal patient care.Key Responsibilities:• Clinical Support: The Medical Associate will assist healthcare providers with patient assessments, take vital signs, prepare patients for examinations, and perform basic medical procedures such as phlebotomy and administering medications.• Administrative Duties: The Medical Associate will handle administrative tasks such as managing patient appointments, maintaining medical records, processing insurance claims, and answering phone inquiries.• Patient Interaction: The Medical Associate will interact with patients, providing education on medical conditions, treatments, and medication instructions, ensuring patients understand their care plans.• Record Keeping: The Medical Associate will maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting patient histories, treatment plans, and clinical procedures in compliance with healthcare regulations.• Care Coordination: The Medical Associate will coordinate patient care with other healthcare providers, specialists, and facilities, facilitating referrals and ensuring continuity of care.Qualifications:• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
