Description


PingWind is seeking a Salesforce Architect to support our Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Solutions Delivery Center of Excellence (COE) contract work. The Salesforce Architect must design, develop, and articulate solutions based on strategic business and technical requirements. The Salesforce Architect will work with program managers, technical leads, and clients to ensure appropriate Salesforce solutions. The candidate must have hands-on and progressive experience in performing customizations, configurations and integration of the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will have a good foundation of Salesforce and demonstrate a willingness to learn new offerings and overcome technical challenges in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will provide design, and implementation expertise to a cross-functional software development team and be capable of leading a technical team. Should have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to effectively share knowledge with team members. Role is fully remote.


Responsibilities


· Meet with stakeholders to understand requirements, determine design and perform gap analysis

· Architect, configure and customize Salesforce application/solution as per business requirements

· Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in implementing large scale enterprise solutions including integration and data migrations

· Capable architecting and estimating new projects and presenting solutions and recommendations to stakeholders in collaboration with program leadership

· Clear understanding of integrating Salesforce application/solution using Mulesoft

· Follow best practices and continuous improvement process

· Demonstrate breadth of knowledge including CRM Analytics and MuleSoft

· Lead a team of Salesforce developers and multiple projects

· Define all aspects of software development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards

· Conduct architecture, code, and design reviews to support development teams and clients

· Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to development team

· Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with product design concepts, best practices, and standards

· Provide technical guidance and coaching to Developers and QA Engineers

· Ensure software documentation is completed to meet all requirements for delivery


Educational and Experience Requirements:


· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering from an accredited college or university; Additional experience would be considered in lieu of degree

· At least ten (10) years of related experience; Twelve (12) years preferred

· At least five (6) years of Salesforce experience

· Excellent verbal and written communication to technical audiences, non-technical audiences, and senior management

· Solution Architect experience on implementation projects using Agile approaches

· Federal Salesforce implementation experience preferred

· Excellent understanding of Salesforce architecture, declarative capabilities, platform configuration and related limits and how they influence design

· Experience integrating with 3rd party solutions using industry standard techniques like REST and experience in using integration tools like MuleSoft

· Supervisory experience in leading Salesforce developers

· Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Technical Architect, or System Architect required

· Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
