We’re looking for a strategic, collaborative, and hands-on leader to own and support critical and cross-functional initiatives within the Scaled Operations organization. This will be a dynamic role, serving as a right-hand person to the VP. You’ll assist with strategic planning, oversee project management and facilitate efficient communication between stakeholders. You’ll be asked to bring clarity to ambiguous questions and make recommendations and influence change. Provide end-to-end project management leadership and support, move multiple priorities forward at once, manage wide-ranging stakeholders across the company, and uphold the highest standards of quality in your work. The ideal candidate has a passion for Pinterest’s mission and a strong sense of ownership in their work.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Manage cross-functional projects and initiatives 
  • Lead or oversee high-priority projects and initiatives, coordinating efforts across departments to ensure successful execution 
  • Compile reports and analyze data to provide insights and support the VP’s decision-making process
  • Organize and prepare for executive meetings, including setting agendas, building collateral and ensuring follow-up on actions
  • Identity areas for improvement within the organization and implement strategies to increase efficiency and effectiveness 
  • Prepare briefing materials and talking points for internal and external engagements in partnership with teams across the company
  • Coordinate and optimize business rhythms to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives 
  • Act as a thought partner to the VP and senior leaders across the company in driving progress on critical needs facing the organization and  the business

 

What we’re looking for:

  • 10+ years of experience, ideally in high-growth technology companies
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, or equivalent experience
  • Blend of strong business judgment, empathy, attention to detail, and grace under pressure
  • Project management experience providing strategic leadership for multiple programs simultaneously in a cross-functional business
  • Experience in building trusted advisor relationships and influencing others (including C-level executives). Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
  • High ethical standards and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information, acting as a trustworthy liaison between teams and leadership across the company
  • Ability navigating extreme ambiguity, responding adeptly to rapidly changing priorities, and staying calm and organized during high-stress moments
  • Superior organizational skills and commitment to high-quality work product

In-Office Requirement Statement

  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection. This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration up to 4x per year and therefore can be situated anywhere in the US.
