About the Role

We’re seeking a motivated and enthusiastic BDR to join our team and be at the forefront of our sales efforts for our Planful for Marketing tool. As a BDR, you will play a crucial role in our sales process by generating and qualifying leads at the top of the funnel. As the first point of contact for potential customers, your primary responsibility will be outbound prospecting daily, utilizing various channels such as phone calls, emails, and social media to connect with potential customers. Your goal is to identify and qualify leads, creating a robust pipeline that will drive revenue growth for Planful.

Responsibilities

  • Daily Inbound and Outbound Prospecting: Engage in high-volume outreach via calls, emails, and social media to identify and connect with potential customers.
  • Pipeline Creation & Management: Develop and maintain a steady stream of qualified leads through diligent prospecting and research efforts. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities and interactions in the CRM system.
  • Collaborative Partnership: Work hand-in-hand with Account Executives to ensure a seamless transition of qualified leads and to strategize on the best approaches for different market segments.
  • Qualification: Engage in meaningful conversations with prospects to understand their needs, pain points, and potential fit for our solutions. Gather and share feedback from prospects to help refine messaging and product positioning.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to align outreach efforts with ongoing campaigns and strategies.
  • Performance Metrics: Achieve and exceed weekly and monthly targets for the number of meetings booked and conversion rates. You will be evaluated on your ability to consistently generate high-quality leads that result in successful sales engagements.

What you Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Marketing is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Driven, hunter mentality, detail oriented, and team player
  • Self-starter with highly-developed interpersonal and organizational skills; decisive and results-oriented person who is prepared to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Experience with Salesforce and Outreach is a plus
  • Passionate about pursuing and growing a career in technology/SaaS sales
  • Comfortable and accountable while working remotely
  • Proactive and wants to be coached consistently while always looking to improve

Pay Transparency Statement

At Planful our top priority is to support our employees and ensure each individual has access to equal growth opportunities. Pay decisions take into consideration the individual's skillset, experience, knowledge, qualifications for the role, and specific work location.
