This position may be located in East Moline, IL, Moline, IL, Waterloo, IA, Davenport, IA, Des Moines, IA, Augusta, GA. Additionally this position can be located at ANY of our US A&T or C&F locations per the hiring manager's discretion. This may be dependent on the successful candidate's background, experience, and proficiency.
Your Responsibilities
As a Planning Lead for John Deere Harvester Works located in Moline, IL you will communicate with suppliers, planners, buyers, site integrators and operations on a day-to-day basis regarding delivery plans. In addition, you will:
Supervise contingent and Salaried Supply Management Planners, monitoring performance, and driving planning excellence.- Lead a team of planners to cultivate and inspire a positive, diverse, and effective team.
- Support individual career development and training.
- Monitor critical reports to ensure delivery plans satisfy production needs.
- Work with Supply Management personnel and cross-functional teams to resolve supplier performance issues.
- Evaluate planners’ skills and abilities to optimize their desk assignments, while leveling workload, and closing gaps within the team.

What Makes You Stand Out
Supervisory or Leadership experience.- Supply Management experience.
- Cross-functional experience in areas of material flow, supplier development, and operations.
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelors Degree and/or three years of equivalent work experience.
