Reman Production: Engine Assembler

The primary function of the engine assembler is to assemble components and majors into sellable engines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Final inspector of parts.
• Assemble parts according to B.O.M. (Bill of Material) and Processes to desired engine level.
• Remove engine from stand and load onto mono rail to Dyno.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Exposure to oil, grease, dirt, chemicals, varying temperatures, and loud noises.

Standing 65%; walking 35%. Frequently lift and or move up to 50 pounds and 100 pounds occasionally. Continuous effort; short work cycles; repetitive motion work.

SKILL/ KNOWLEDGE/ ABILITY/ EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have basic engine knowledge.
• Ability to use hand tools, torque wrenches, air tools, and a hoist are strongly preferred.
