Job Summary:

PPC’s Facilities and Maintenance Manager is responsible for all activities associated with the maintenance of the production equipment and facilities maintenance of the Syracuse, NY manufacturing facility. You will provide sound leadership and development to the facilities and maintenance teams while reporting directly to the Syracuse Plant Manager and will work out of the Syracuse facility.

You will make a difference in the following ways:

• Maintains and ensures reliability of all plant production equipment to minimize downtime, recommend improvements and purchase critical spare parts for effective operation.
• Oversees all facility maintenance, inside and outside the plant, to include HVAC, plumbing, electrical, gas, compressed air.
• Establishes and executes a plant wide preventative maintenance program.
• Develops sustainable solutions to reduce energy consumption and water, minimize waste, and neutralize carbon emissions within the facility.
• Provides guidance to the plant EHS management and aid in the implementation of necessary initiatives to ensure government regulations and corporate standards.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical.
• Minimum five (5) years of equipment and facilities maintenance experience in a manufacturing combined with minimum three (3) years prior supervisory experience.
• Proficient project management skills.
• Extensive knowledge of preventative maintenance functions, industrial electrical concepts, pneumatics systems, PLCs, and air compressor units

Pay: $93,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
