Position Overview

As a Strategy and Planning Expert within PNC's Technology Resource Group, you can sit in Pittsburgh, PA.

Part of new Technology Resource Group function that is being stood up to focus on driving strategic workforce planning for the Technology organization.
Primary focus of the role is to conduct workforce consultations with Technology teams to help them develop workforce strategies and plans that drive alignment with overall Technology workforce guiding principles.
Role will partner with multiple different Technology teams to understand and assess their workforce composition, identify opportunity areas for better alignment with Technology workforce strategy and define action plans to transform the workforce.
Role will also work closely with Partner teams including HR Business Partners, HR Talent Strategy, Strategic Sourcing, Contingent Labor and Finance.
Opportunity to help define the operating model for the new Technology Resource Group function.

Job Description

  • Leads specific strategic planning initiatives, including analysis, oversight and support for solution development.
  • Identifies strategic opportunities that add value to the business and to achieve business goals.
  • Leads advanced planning, analysis, solution development and presentation for more complex strategic initiatives. Ensures quality and accuracy of data elements relative to the initiatives. Mentors and educates team members regarding advanced planning practices. Manages the overall strategic initiative to help ensure revenue, expense and other business objectives are met.
  • Proactively makes recommendations by developing and executing on solutions-based intiatives dervied from key findings. Develops strong partnerships with key decision-makers to ensure cross-business and cross-functional alignment and synergies.
  • Acts as point of contact with the line of business to implement recommended strategic solutions.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry relevant experience is typically 8+ years. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
