Registered Dietitian (LA license)
Pomelo Care is a tech-driven healthcare company dedicated to providing evidence-based care for pregnant individuals and their babies. They are seeking a registered dietitian to join their remote team to improve nutrition care access for perinatal patients.
Skills
- National certification as a registered dietitian (RD) or registered dietitian/nutritionist (RDN).
- Experience with clients accessing Medicaid or SNAP.
- Ability to employ motivational interviewing.
- Strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one virtual nutrition care via text, app messaging, phone and video calls.
- Teach group classes and facilitate support groups.
- Work collaboratively with the clinical team to build Pomelo.
- Develop patient-facing content and clinical protocols.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
