Strategic Management & Analysis
The Financial Analyst position will report into the Business Management & Financial Report Senior Supervisor. The ideal candidate will embrace the opportunity to diversify their skillset through new challenges while balancing recurring deliverables. This platform requires optimal interpersonal and leadership skills as the candidate will work closely with senior leaders across Popular Bank.
In this position, you will:
Financial Reporting & Analytics (85%)
• Generate & maintain recurring business management reporting in timely manner to help the business better understand and manage its costs, risks, capital usage, pricing, growth opportunities, etc.
• Track & report progress of balance sheet activity that will drive proper management of business strategy.
• Prepare & develop monthly in-depth business reviews in partnership with manager and regional analysts as required.
• Collaborate with Incentive Compensation Analyst to ensure proper capturing of commercial team financials and KPIs.
Precision Lender Support (15%)
• Assist PL Administrator to perform relationship management audits & test relationship profitability modules.
• Administer security, user access privileges, assist with security audits, troubleshoot user issues, prepare process documentation and training manuals.
• Assist PL Administrator with preparing and delivering recurring reporting to assist lines of businesses with opportunity analysis.
To be considered, you will need:
• Bachelor's degree required
• Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Adept presentation skills with an ability to target messaging to different audiences
• Exceptional organizational skills and an ability to handle multiple tasks to meet extremely tight deadlines
• Able to articulate complex issues and themes to stakeholders
• Ability to connect the dots and make sense of information across multiple data points upstream/downstream that many not be easily noticeable
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail
• Confidence to interact directly with Senior Management Team members
Salary Range Information
Our base salary for this position located in New York City generally ranges between $85,000.00 and $100,000.00 annually, depending on business need and on your qualifications and experience. Base salary does not include incentive compensation, commission, or any other type of remuneration or benefits. Base salary may vary if position is based in other geographic locations.
