Together we’ll build a pipeline and portfolio of ventures and investments that will nurture the environment; create new ways of living in community and harmony; provide pride, place, purpose to its inhabitants; and develop technologies across a broad array of sectors to empower humankind. 

To tackle this expansive mission, you’ll collaborate with a team of dreamers and doers from around the world, leveraging our proven methodology and extensive network. Depending on your expertise, you may be creating new ventures, determining promising startups to invest in, hosting events and venture competitions, or building and managing the engine that will drive our client’s vision.

Who We Need

  • Conducting interviews, taking notes, deriving insight, and clearly presenting findings
  • The identification and documentation of a real and meaningful customer pain using whiteboards, the Miro app, and written narratives.
  • Utilizing Information Architecture and different methods for organizing complex and diverse types of content, and ultimately visualizing complex customer context, customer journeys in a very simple to understand manner
  • Script creation, scenario development, and persona development
  • Rapid production of storyboards, wireframes and prototypes that convey the context and value propositions defined by the Incubate team.
  • Presentations (Keynote, Miro) that effortlessly take the viewer on the journey from customer pain to solution-testing to worthy business venture.
  • High customer satisfaction upon completion of Incubates

 

What You Bring

  • Up to 3+ years of work experience
  • Degree from an accredited university or college in Design and / or User Experience, or equivalent training / work experience.
  • Experience applying design thinking methods in the service of conceiving, validating, and building products.
  • Clear and persuasive written and oral communication style in English, while Arabic is a big plus.
  • Fluency in the following design programs: Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, Balsamiq, Invision, Keynote / PowerPoint / Google Slides
  • Willing to be flexible and work when the work is needed, sometimes at odd hours (there are lots of peaks and valleys during an incubation)
  • Previous start-up experience a plus
  • A willingness to be an integral member of the team and step in where needed as a partner in customer development
  • A curious mind and the ability to naturally make connections between diverse fields and industries
  • The ability to work quickly and efficiently in a very fast-paced, multi-task, collaborative environment 
  • A positive attitude, resilience, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to contribute to strong team dynamics
  • Comfort learning and working within the Client's Research process
  • Ability to recruit customers for interviews with a focus on successfully delivering interviewees into the schedule, including willingness to approach interviewees via multiple channels, including over the phone
  • Ability to work effectively with a range of different organizations and people at all levels
