About the Role:

Positive Development is seeking a Payroll Specialist that will play crucial part of the Finance Team reporting directly to the Payroll Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with HR and Finance team to ensure accurate and efficient pay records for employees
  • Checking timesheets for accuracy
  • Maintain employee information updates that relate to their pay
  • Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering any employee payroll queries
  • Review, track, document compliance and with mandatory and non-mandatory training, professional licensure, aptitude exams, and certifications
  • Communicate and follow-up with employees
  • Preparing reports that include summaries of earnings, tax deductions, leave and non-taxable wages
  • Perform additional duties as requested by Supervisor or Management team

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Payroll experience
  • Strong knowledge of EMR software and payroll applications
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Track record of establishing strong collaborative relationships
  • Exceptional attention to detail, team mentality, and positive attitude
  • Passion for impacting the lives of families with children with ASD and expanding access to treatment through insurance
  • Familiar with Rippling bonus or similar HRIS
