As a Customer Planning Coordinator, you will be the first line of contact for our customer site teams and external customers to ensure the success of every sale. You'll input orders for Auto OEM facilities to receive the right product and color at the right time from our wide selection of products for pre-treatment, electrocoat, primer, basecoat, and clear coat applications.You will own that order until it ships from the facility and will work directly with many teams such as Supply Chain, Operations and Shipping departments to ensure on-time delivery for your assigned accounts. Your main responsibilities include directly managing a set of customer accounts along side our Sales and Optima Solutions team where you will be empowered to proactively deal with customer service-related problems and implement corrective action plans when needed. You will report to a Supply Chain Manager and work onsite in Cleveland, OH.Main responsibilities:• Timely and accurate order entry of customer orders into Oracle, including late order tracking• Reviewing and updating daily priority list, customer and product file maintenance• Working with Planning, Scheduling, Production and Shipping to ensure on-time shipments and manage inventory in a cost-effective manner• Working with team to help resolve issues and implement corrective action plans where needed.• Tracking FG inventory levels and usage on daily/weekly basis for your assigned customer accounts to ensure supply is available at warehouse to ship on time to customer to avoid run out.• Complete all training including safety, quality, and supply chain refresher courses and be willing to back-up other job functions including supply chain planning.• Perform all other Supply Chain or customer service-related duties as required to support the changing needs of the business.Qualifications:• High School Diploma or GED required; advanced degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Marketing, or business-related field preferred or equivalent experience developed through supply chain career path• 1 or more years of experience in a fast-paced, complex customer service environment required (retail or call center experience is not applicable)• 1 or more years of experience with order management and/or supply chain planning.• Experience entering high volume of order data daily with low error rate essential• Strong written and oral communication, strong customer phone skills, teamwork and interpersonal skills are essential• Experience managing and evaluating inventory in MRP, MS Teams, or Excel spreadsheets• Oracle, SAP, or other ERP system experience preferredDe salarisschalen en overige arbeidsvoorwaarden van PPG kunnen per locatie verschillen, waardoor we medewerkers in verschillende geografische markten concurrerend kunnen belonen.
