As a Data Analyst, you will use a variety of financial methods to analyze, report and provide recommendations for corporate Environment Social Governance (ESG), disclosures, projects, and programs. The ESG Analyst ensures accurate sustainability metrics are established and maintained using ESG measures, standards, and methodologies. The ESG Analyst is responsible for monitoring and measuring ESG... rankings and ratings and is expected to conduct routine financial assessments of key initiatives that support PPG's ESG strategy. Key Responsibilities Conduct financial analysis of potential sustainable investments, customer initiatives and overall sustainability projects Maintain and analyze PPG dashboard of critical sustainability metrics related to energy, waste, water, and emissions. Manage ESG database of key data and ensure it is accurate and current Issue periodic reports to supervise PPG's progress in meeting sustainability targets. Prepare data for inclusion in PPG's annual sustainability report. Quantify the value of sustainability improvements and communicate to key partners. Assist with verification of greenhouse gas and other sustainability related metrics using internal procedures and external standards and guidelines. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Environmental Studies, Engineering, or equivalent education with 5+years of demonstrable experience in financial analysis, data analytics, data science, sustainability/ESG, or related field is required. Possess a detailed understanding of data analysis, data modeling and associated methodologies. Proficient in digital tools used to collect, manage, and report ESG data.
