As the Supply Chain Data Analyst in our Industrial Segment, you will will support the Strategy Manager growing and improving our SIOP process; guide process improvements; and ensure plant level supply plans are aligned with our goals. You will also support our Toller Manager in daily activities for existing tollers and support important growth areas within the Industrial Segment. You will contribute to efforts to improve not only our toller relationships but establish metrics to improve performance.This will be a hybrid role based out of PPG's General Office in Pittsburgh and will have minimal travel.Key Responsibilities• Run and analyze monthly ASCP Supply Plans and work with plants on gaps• Work with plants to ensure that proper forecasting and manufacturing system parameters are set to deliver expected results• Forecast comparison to ASCP Supply Plans• Verify new business in Demantra/Supply Plans• Develop tools and workbooks to provide information to support job goals.• Identify and lead improvement efforts in areas including improving supply plan gaps, capacity use, logistics savings, sourcing changes and toller performance.• Analysis for new tolling projects (production history, shipment history, BOM, Costs, and Toller conversion cost)• Support root cause analysis and “Get to Green” Actions for important metrics• Communicate goals and results with partners (i.e. plants, tollers, suppliers, procurement, commercial)Qualifications• Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, business, or related field• Experience with Oracle or SAP• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (can perform complex functions) , Power BI• Strong data analysis and communication skills• Analytical and strategic thinkerPPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
