Pros

Statista has been the best job I've had, I was hired at the end of the last Americas CEO's tenure so I didn't get much experience with the less-good Statista times. However, once Eric, the new CEO in America took over, along with some staffing changes, the culture has been thriving ever since. People are incredibly nice, I feel like everybody is included or even if you're shy people will try their best to bring you into the group. Though I don't work in the sales department, I've noticed a lack of competitiveness in terms of employees trying to undercut each other, there is a sense of "we're all winning if we're all winning" at the company. Pay has increased with the new year, beforehand I would say the pay was a little low, now we seem to be getting a salary that's on par with the industry and the bonus structure was redone to be far more fair while before you could just be unlucky with your assigned book of business. Probably the first corporate job I've had where I can fully be myself at work and talk to my colleagues (even upper management) as equals. Statista is a great product and basically sells itself. Morally as well, Statista is a product that does a net good on the world which is a nice feeling ethically.

Cons

Work hours are a little odd at first: 830-6pm, Mon-Thursdays 9-4pm on Fridays I've noticed the work culture of the company has adjusted to these hours though, so you'll be evenly paced through the week and, for example, most colleagues are conscious of scheduling meetings before 9am or after 5pm unless it's a time zone requirement or an absolutely busy week. So really, it works. RTO twice a week for tri-state employees reduced some flexibilities that we had before, but still it seems like about half of the US profit center is still fully remote and are exceptional at getting their work done. So going back to the office is more for culture and easier communication than productivity which we can get behind. Some of the internal tools are outdated and lack integration into things like Salesforce, however this is being fixed and changed, just takes a long time. Sometimes the US needs to go through Germany for certain things which can take awhile because of time zone issues and figuring out exactly who to reach out to. Yet, everything still gets done you just have to wait sometimes is all.
