What you will be doing
The Software Integration Engineer shall develop software Tools and Services in a PaaS Linux environment supporting an ‘on-prem’ cloud offering with open source software using Kubernetes, Docker, Rook and other cutting edge software. Expertise and desire to work in a containerized landlord/tenant environment is essential. The Software Integration Engineer shall support the development of Tools and Services that increase the efficiency of software to production within a DevOps culture.

Here, you'll get hands-on experience developing software tools and services in a PaaS Linux environment while supporting an on-prem cloud offering with cutting-edge open-source technologies. This position calls for expertise in containerization, particularly using Kubernetes and Docker, as you'll help create solutions that enhance software deployment efficiency within a vibrant DevOps culture. Your technical acumen will be put to the test as you leverage Linux CLI, scripting in Bash/Python, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles. Collaborating with a talented team, you’ll also draw upon your experience in troubleshooting large Linux clusters and monitoring system performance with tools like Prometheus and Grafana. In this role, you’ll contribute to cloud solutions and observe how your efforts translate into real-world impacts on operations. Plus, if you enjoy working with automation tools like SaltStack and Puppet and are familiar with using Git for version control, you’ll find there’s plenty of scope to apply your skills. An active TS/SCI clearance with an appropriate polygraph is required, as is a desire to push boundaries in a progressive tech landscape.
