Health Information Technology Specialist - Oncology

Our client is seeking a Health Information Technology Specialist with expertise in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in identifying opportunities for improvement in patient care processes and providing support to healthcare teams.

Skills

Experience with EHR software such as Epic Beacon, Cerner, iKnowMed, OncoEMR tech
Knowledge of healthcare and Clinical Informatics
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

Assist priority IDN’s and Health systems in identifying potential gaps/barriers within EHR systems
Problem solve and provide solutions for EHR gaps
Collaborate with customers including end users, clinicians, IT, and informatics team
Develop and implement customer specific plans to optimize EHR systems

Education

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
Clinical IT experience, Pharmacy IT, or Nursing Informatics preferred
