Job Description:
SoftwareOne is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Pre-Sales Specialist with expertise in Microsoft Technologies to join our team in Mumbai and Delhi. As a Pre-Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting our sales efforts by providing technical expertise, solution demonstrations, and excellent customer service. You will collaborate closely with our sales team to drive business growth and help our clients achieve their technology objectives.
Responsibilities:
Understand Customer Needs: Engage with customers to understand their business requirements, challenges, and goals. Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify opportunities where Microsoft Technologies can add value.
Solution Design and Presentations: Collaborate with the sales team to design and present tailored solutions based on customer requirements, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Technologies. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concepts (POCs) to showcase the benefits and capabilities of Microsoft solutions.
Technical Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of Microsoft Technologies, including but not limited to Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, SQL Server, and SharePoint. Stay up-to-date with the latest Microsoft product releases, updates, and industry trends to provide accurate and relevant guidance to customers.
Proposal Development: Assist the sales team in creating detailed and comprehensive proposals and quotes that address customer needs. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate pricing, licensing, and solution configurations.
Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors. Act as a trusted advisor and technical consultant to support long-term customer success.
POC Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute proof of concepts and pilots to validate the effectiveness of Microsoft Technologies. Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting during the POC phase to address any issues or concerns.
Sales Support: Support the sales team throughout the sales cycle by providing technical guidance, addressing customer inquiries, and conducting product demonstrations. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project handover.
Market and Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics related to Microsoft Technologies. Provide insights and recommendations to the sales team to position SoftwareOne as a trusted advisor and differentiate our solutions.
What we need to see from you:
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.-
Minimum of X years of experience in a pre-sales or technical sales role, preferably in the software or IT industry.

Strong expertise in Microsoft Technologies, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, SQL Server, and SharePoint.

Should have capabilities on Building/ defining SoW for Deployments ,PoCs

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Proven experience in solution design, POC management, and technical demonstrations.

Strong customer focus and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSE, MCSA) are highly desirable.
