Business Analyst - DTMB

DTMB (Department of Technology, Management, and Budget) Agency Services needs a Senior Business Analyst 5 to support the Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) Agency. The role involves developing an IT solution for energy rebates, collaborating with EGLE experts, vendors, and the public, and facilitating requirements gathering and process modeling.

• Facilitate requirements meetings and gap analysis.
• Analyze and document business systems and needs.
• Align systems with business strategies.
• Reengineer processes and prepare solution options.
• Write detailed user needs and program functions.
• Support and enhance business intelligence.
• Develop RFPs and manage reporting tools.
• Work under general supervision, reporting to a project manager.

• 12 years BA experience
• 7 years in business process review and requirements documentation
• 5 years developing user stories on Agile projects
• 2 years facilitating senior management strategy discussions
• Experience with IT solutions for public use and compliance with contracts
• 1 year in program effectiveness analytics and IT infrastructure projects
• Experience with state/federal regulations

• Bachelor's Degree

• Prefer Lansing, MI candidates
• Hybrid schedule with 2 days/week onsite from day 1
