Credentialing Specialist

Christ Hospital in Norwood, Ohio, is seeking a Credentialing Specialist for a 13-week contract assignment. In this role, you will be responsible for credentialing physicians and advanced practice staff, ensuring all necessary verifications are completed in compliance with Joint Commission accreditation standards.

• Candidate must be open to a 13-week contract
• Candidate must be open to working fully onsite in the office
• Candidate must be open to obtaining a Flu Shot prior to starting
• Must have 5+ years of experience from a hospital/health system credentialing physicians and/or advanced practice staff.

• Must have 5+ years of experience from a hospital/health system credentialing physicians and/or advanced practice staff. Must be strong in Excel and have great attention to detail.
• Understanding of what needs to be verified, Joint Commission accreditation rules, privileging, license verification, board certifications, anything the provider is licensed to do. Please avoid submitting any candidates who only have credentialed nurses, allied staff or non-physician/advanced practice staff.

• Preferred: Cactus/Symplr experience is strongly preferred; Credentialing certifications.
• Preferred: CPCS certified

Duration: 13 weeks contract

This position is completely onsite; remote work is not available.

Shift: M-F 8AM-4:40PM

Hours: 32-40 hours per week

Required: 5 years experience in Physician Credentialing and privileging. Strong excel experience.
