The Prevention Specialist is a position of considerable community services responsibilities. Under general supervision, the Prevention Specialist plans and conducts community based and school based primary and secondary prevention programs. Program Management, data entry and travel are required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education or related field desired

• Moderate knowledge of computer experience, data entry and internet research

• Knowledge of community resources and funding sources

• Certified Prevention Specialist credential required w/in 2 years of hire
