Opportunity:

As an Acquisition Strategy Analyst, you will manage Just Energy’s product and price catalogue, working with Sales to maximize our reach and drive profitable growth. You will collaborate with teams across the company to identify and evaluate strategies that foster long-term customer relationships.

Your key accountabilities:
  • Gain an expert understanding of energy markets to help Just Energy get an edge – track competitor offers, opportunities, and regulatory environment
  • Work alongside channel leaders to diversify and extend our sales funnels
  • Take ownership of all product-related material, references, and content (internal and external)
  • Drive the go-to-market strategy in coordination with various business units
  • Build reporting to track campaign success and customer trends, and take action to optimize business value
  • Enhance embedded gross margin through proactive pricing updates and monitoring of costs
  • Design products and customer experiences that create clear long-term customer value
  • Support operational efficiency through ad-hoc requests and reporting to ensure successful customer enrollment, billing and payment
  • Build financial models to conduct scenario analysis and help make data-driven decisions
Requirements:
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, PPT
  • Business or Engineering degree; additional certification valued
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated success using your analytic prowess to help businesses grow – financial services and consumer products industries preferred
  • Experience directly supporting a sales team to drive profitable growth
  • Excellent storytelling capabilities – ability to effectively convey complex details based on root cause analysis for varying levels of Peers and Management
  • Ability to persuade colleagues at different levels of management using data-informed findings
  • A passion for problem solving, resolution management and overall process improvement
  • Thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environment and have managerial courage to work through challenges
  • Ability to prioritize deliverables and self-direct to accomplish your commitments
