Sales AssociatePosition Type: Temp to Hire; fully onsite with the potential for hybrid work in the futureCompensation: $19.00 per hourSchedule: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Summer Schedule with half-day Fridays through the month of AugustThe Distribution Sales Associate reports directly to the Channel Manager. This position is responsible for managing outbound contact with prospective, active, and inactive clients, handling administrative tasks, email communication, soliciting orders, and explaining the benefits of working with the company.Duties:Work closely with Sales Representatives by managing administrative responsibilities on active accounts in the morning and prospecting inactive and dormant clients in the afternoon. As a team member, you will learn, understand, represent, and contribute to company policies, procedures, and philosophies.Functions:Partner with Sales Team:• Eager to learn and understand the collector toy market.• Utilize persuasive skills to influence client decisions and build strong relationships.• Fully understand product lines and make strategic decisions to meet clients' needs.• Proficiently explain company policies and the benefits of working with the company.• Listen to and understand customer needs, effectively problem-solve, and provide tailored solutions.• Provide comprehensive administrative support across various functions, ensuring client follow-through.• Review and handle client admin requests based on Sales or Client needs.• Pull call and sales lists as directed by the manager.Activate Dormant/Inactive Accounts:• Meet and/or exceed outbound call goals and other metrics as set by management.• Make outbound contact with prospective, active, and inactive clients to recommend reconnecting with their sales representative and their wholesale account.• Qualify leads from dormant clients to increase interest and schedule follow-up calls or video conferences with their current Sales Representative.• Proactively recommend products and services to clients based on their specific needs and market trends.• Create and manage email lists for Prospects, Inactive, and Active clients.• Engage in ongoing product, technical, system, and sales training opportunities.• Perform other sales and account maintenance functions as needed.• Handle projects as assigned by Management and/or Director of Sales.• Assist with phone queue coverage and sales support projects when necessary.Requirements:• Strong organizational skills and follow-through• Excellent verbal and written communication• Leadership• Teamwork• Preferred prior phone or sales experience• Proficiency with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)• Bilingual skills are a plus but not requiredCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $19.00 - $19.00 Per Hour
