POSITION SUMMARY:
The Southern Hemisphere Planner will manage sales and receipt forecasts, providing clear visibility into budget opportunities, risks, and category performance. The role involves ensuring financial objectives are met by maintaining optimal inventory levels and offering actionable insights for measurable business impact.
The Planner will partner with the buying team to offer planning guidance and demonstrate how financial metrics drive performance. Additionally, the Planner will independently manage reporting structures, including ad-hoc reports, and present recommendations effectively.
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, THIS IS WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE AS OUR PLANNER- SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE:
-Drive business results by delivering actionable conclusions based on thorough analysis of sales, receipts, and turn data by category.
-Collaborate with the Director of Planning to refine bottom-up forecasts and identify opportunities or risks relative to top-down forecasts. Ensure departments stay within their budgets and provide recommendations when inventory needs arise.
-Utilizing Inventory Planner, Excel, and Shopify, maintain forecasting tools weekly and monitor spending to align with the budget. Collaborate with the buying team to prioritize investments with the highest return on investment (ROI).
-Produce and distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports, including detailed recaps of selling trends.
-Ensure spending on inventory aligns with SOH (Stock on Hand) targets and make recommendations for receipt flow adjustments.
-Support the buying team with seasonal strategies and planning for special collections, ensuring regional alignment.
COMMERCIAL AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelor’s degree preferred
-2-4 years of experience within apparel planning or related field
-Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high volume environment
-High proficiency in Excel
-Data obsessed- accuracy means everything to you
-Positive, optimistic attitude towards problem solving
-Team player

SALARY BANDING: 85-90k
