Job Description


As a valued contributor to our team, you will advise on processes and analyses to monitor business problems and/or opportunities, including process improvement, system enhancement, and training. In this role, you will support the development, networking, and/or project management of strategic business objectives.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

The Enterprise Architecture - Business Architecture - Principal role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Partner with business, product and technology leads to manage a team defining business cases, setting transformation goals and objectives to launch key initiatives.
  • Identify innovation opportunities and use hands-on concepts like interactive prototyping, low fidelity POC’s to showcase potential business value while managing a team doing the same.
  • Lead large discovery sessions with SME’s and stakeholder groups to formulate business outcomes, customer personas, journeys & experiences, prototyping and POC’s for solving complex business problems.
  • In partnership with business sponsors and product leads, envision, plan, implement, communicate, promote and update the target business architecture over multiple time horizons.
  • Manage other business architects across multiple value streams on actionable architecture, engagement and relationship building strategies.
  • Build relationships across business, product and Tech stakeholder groups to become a trusted partner and advisor in making key decisions while managing staff to do the same.

Qualifications


THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM


Minimum Required Experiences

  • 8 years of experience in IT or Finance Industry
  • Prior experience as a business architect
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent


Desired Experiences

  • MBA in Finance and/or Capital Markets experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with the Front office & Operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of new technical capabilities with the ability to translate that knowledge, while training others, into business goals and objectives aligned to strategic priorities.
  • Design thinking skills including hands-on prototyping, customer journey mapping, and persona development is a plus.
  • The ability to make insightful, successful business decisions and tradeoffs assessing the internal and external business landscape, strategies, opportunities, strengths, and weaknesses.
  • Experience identifying and selecting strategic options while managing resources to help the organization navigate the changing environment.
  • Possess engagement management skills including nurturing stakeholder relationships, prompt response to requests, and proactively identifies business opportunities while managing others to do the same.
  • A history of defining and new, original ideas and successfully managing a team implementing them across a diverse organization.

  • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand.
  • Successfully manage multiple competing work efforts across multiple teams. Involves assessing impacts, importance and urgency and setting direction and expectations - to meet or exceed expectations for timeliness and quality of work.
  • Skilled in supporting, controlling, monitoring, and management of large, complex, and sometimes geographically dispersed IT infrastructure and applications to optimize IT service delivery.
  • Business Process Management including business process modeling, process design and implementation, etc.
  • Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal.
  • Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion.
  • Business Insight including advising, designing business models, interpreting customer and market insights, forecasting, benchmarking, etc.
  • Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict.
  • Experience identifying and selecting strategic options and identifying resources to meet the defined objectives.
  • Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.
  • Experience helping an organization to plan and manage change in effort to meet strategic objectives.
  • Skilled in creating visual concepts, creating content, and editing content by hand or with the help with computer software to communicate ideas.
  • Operational Excellence including improving and overseeing operations.

Tools

  • Experience with SAFe and Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of AWS suite of products
  • Skilled in ARIS Express
  • Experience using JIRA and Confluence
  • Skilled in using OneNote.
  • Skilled in Microsoft suite of products
