Principal Consultant, Lattice Advisory Services - Talent Management Practice

About the Role 


Imagine you had the chance to shape the people practices and philosophies of thousands of companies across the globe. This is the focus of Lattice’s Advisory Services team, whose mission is to bring the most relevant, data-backed, forward-thinking, expert guidance to our customers’ People Strategies. 


As Lattice’s Talent Management specialist, you will advise customers and build best practices around performance management, compensation, and employee development programs. You will bring your extensive experience to bear, but will also learn from customers, partners, and Latticians as you seek to constantly evaluate and evolve our strategies and tactics. 


Your primary responsibility will be working directly with Lattice customers to help them make informed decisions, craft change management plans, and ultimately achieve their people strategy goals using the Lattice platform. In addition to this, you will have general responsibilities around identifying best practices, enabling teams internally, consulting with the Lattice product team, and evangelizing externally.


Responsibilities


Bring and maintain deep expertise and specialization in all things Talent Management — from performance review design to competency framework development — pulling from past experience, engagements with current customers, and ongoing research and training

Manage a small team of domain experts that deliver services and insights to Lattice customers

Consult with Lattice customers on their strategic and tactical needs. Be prepared both to jump in on ad hoc meetings as well as to run well-developed plays (that you yourself have developed). 

Partner closely with Lattice Customer Success team to ensure customers are receiving a seamless and professional experience

Partner closely with Lattice Implementation Services team to bring best practices to our customer launch programs

Educate Lattice CX, Sales, Marketing, and Product teams about best practices

Develop content (such as best practices guides, change management playbooks, and ‘state of’ presentations) to inform both customers and Latticians

Consult with the Lattice product team, offering guidance as they consider our product strategy and roadmap

Evangelize externally as you leverage your experience and expertise to help elevate Lattice’s brand and our ability to offer sound advice in the market

Qualifications


You have 7+ years of experience working in, and/or consulting in, the talent management space

You have designed and implemented change management programs

You are relentless learner and stay abreast of emerging trends in the industry

You are an exceptional listener and communicator

You translate complex ideas and decisions in written / presentation format

You demonstrate the ability to work independently and autonomously, but also communicate proactively to keep your stakeholders and teammates informed

You demonstrate interest and capacity for making an impact at a broad scale, be it across teams, companies or industries

You are able to advise companies in various stages (early stage to enterprise) and industries (tech, consumer goods, health services, etc)

You have experience with HR software technologies

You thrive in a fast-paced SaaS startup environment

Nice to have  


Master’s Degree, preferably in the realm of Organizational Development, I/O Psychology or equivalent

Experience using and/or configuring performance management software (bonus if you have used Lattice!)

Strong data acumen; ability to analyze and use data to tell stories
