Print Room Technician

About the job: The Print Room technician will support the Supervisor, Print on Demand by performing daily tasks associated with the printers and finishing equipment. This role requires an individual who strives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable with multitasking, and has at least some familiarity with printers Spoke Custom is a multi-facility Print On Demand company growing at record speeds. We produce a plethora of products shipped and sold to businesses and individuals around the world and are one of the only POD companies featuring edge-to-edge decoration on all of our products. Our parent company, Polyconcept North America (PCNA), is a leading promotional products supplier providing everything from backpacks, water bottles and wireless power banks to stylish polos, jackets and hoodies – thousands of products in all, with the capability to imprint logos on each and every one of them.

What you will be doing:

• Work quickly and efficiently to ensure SLA is met for your area

• Utilize inventory and non inventory items in FIFO

• Transport ready prints to production

• Perform quality checks on a consistent basis

• Material handling such as locating, removing, or loading media rolls

• Work with RIP software such as Onyx or Wasatch

• Complete regular maintenance in a timely manner

What you will need to bring to the role:

• High energy individual who thrives in a fluid, fast-paced, work environment

• Knowledge of RIP software such as Onyx, Wasatch and Fiery is a plus, but not required

• Experience using printers and/or finishing equipment desired, but not required

• Completes tasks, consistently meets deadlines and strives to exceed expectations

• Flexible in regard to work schedule with willingness to work weekends

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
