This is an experienced-based salaried role proven by ability and talent of a Senior Structural Engineer.Create 3D models and detail drawings in Solidworks based on customer-provided design inputs and internal conceptual designs while adhering to company standards. Typical products include steel platforms, stairs, towers, foundations, skids, tanks, and drag chains for customers in various industries such as Telecommunications, Transportation, Waste Water, and Oil & Gas. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience, preferably related to structural steel design, and be fluent in SolidWorks. Texas PE License required. Prefer familiarity with AISC, ANSI, EIA/TIA, and ASSHTO standards.Duties• Advanced knowledge of engineering technology, codes, and standards, in the USA• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills plus demonstrated ability to manage a team of varied disciplines.• Coordinates with the client, consultants, project team, disciplinary engineering departments, vendors, and subcontractors• Develops and monitors detailed project scope and schedule• Prepares basic engineering requirements and basic engineering design data• Reviews and interprets design requirements and incorporates into detail design• Coordinates scheduling of engineering activities to issue drawings, specifications, and purchase orders, assuring receipt of information from the client, process licensors, subcontractors and suppliers to meet the overall engineering and construction schedule• Coordinates engineering work done by joint venture's structural group to include vendors and clients.• Detailed knowledge and experience of the full project lifecycle.• Manage the design staff of four.• Software experience in: RISA 3D, Solidworks Simulation, tnxTwoer, Helicap, Lpile, and Mathcad.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering• More than 5 years of detailed structural design engineering experience work.• Well-versed in Solidworks is a priority.Education:• Bachelor's (Required)License, :• Texas P.E.
