Senior Performance/Security Tester

ProArch is seeking a highly skilled Senior Performance Tester to join our dedicated quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our applications perform reliably and efficiently under varying load conditions. You will leverage advanced testing methodologies to identify performance bottlenecks and provide actionable insights to enhance system performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute performance test plans, strategies, and scripts for applications.
  • Conduct load, stress, and scalability testing to evaluate application performance under different conditions.
  • Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and create detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to understand application architecture and performance requirements.
  • Utilize performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar to simulate user load and gather metrics.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve application performance based on test results.
  • Mentor junior testers on best practices in performance testing and analysis.
  • 5+ years of experience in performance testing and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Proficient in using performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or equivalent.
  • Experience with application profiling and performance monitoring tools.
