In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a profound impact by providing high-quality education, support, and advocacy for students with special needs. If you are passionate about fostering growth, celebrating diversity, and making a difference, we want to hear from you.Responsibilities:• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address the unique strengths, needs, and goals of each student.• Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a sense of belonging, confidence, and self-advocacy.• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, support staff, and families, to ensure holistic support and continuity of care.• Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies, assistive technologies, and differentiated instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.• Monitor student progress through ongoing assessment, data analysis, and regular communication with stakeholders.• Provide ongoing feedback, encouragement, and support to students, empowering them to overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential.• Participate in professional development opportunities and stay abreast of best practices in special education to enhance teaching effectiveness.Qualifications:• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.• Valid California Teaching Credential with Special Education endorsement.• Previous experience working with students with diverse learning needs, preferably in a school or clinical setting.• Passion for working with individuals with special needs and a commitment to fostering inclusivity and empowerment.• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.• Ability to adapt instruction to meet the individualized needs of students and differentiate instruction effectively.• Dedication to ongoing professional growth and development.Benefits:• Competitive salary and benefits package.• Opportunities for professional development and advancement.• Supportive and collaborative team environment.• Meaningful work that makes a difference in the lives of students and families.ProCare Therapy is an equal opportunity employer.
