Summary of Job Responsibilities

Job Description

Experience of three to five years in the manufacturing field, preferably within an automotive supplier company

Proficiency in conducting backlash checks on ball screws using an indicator, as well as the proper removal, setup, and installation of ball screw assembly

Realignment of turret heads, spindles, chucks, etc. through the use of indicators. Also, expertise in spindle removal, rebuild, and replacement

Aptitude for interpreting blueprints, particularly in relation to bearing stack up and hydraulic systems

Capability to perform hydraulic cylinder and pump removal, rebuild, and replacement

Skilled in troubleshooting hydraulic systems

Possession of Mobile Crane License and knowledge of rigging techniques

Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and work in teams

Carrying out additional duties as necessary

Required Skills and Education

Holder of a certified journeyperson’s card (or similar contractual Journeyperson status), or able to demonstrate a minimum of eight years of experience in a specific trade through previous employment, supported by a company letterhead

Willingness to work overtime and a flexible schedule as required in accordance with the union facility agreement

Availability to work any shift as necessary

Successful completion of pre-employment physical examination, including drug testing
