BrightFarms is at the forefront of transforming the supply chain for leafy greens in the United States. The Company currently operates 16 acres of production through 6 farms in the northeast and Midwest and is building 5 new regional hubs that will increase the Company’s production by 60 acres over the next 2 years. Our supply chain is driven by fanatical customer service. We are looking for an individual who is eager and self-motivated and wants to learn all about Sourcing and Procurement in a fast-growing CPG company. This role will support Sourcing activities in the Indirect and Purchasing spaces. This individual will focus on setting up contracts, placing purchase obligations, and working with the Procurement Director in creating an Indirect Procurement department and P2P process.

The Procurement Coordinator role is responsible for supporting the creation of the Indirect Procurement Category, focusing on centralizing and administrating contracts and all Indirect spend including but not limited to Facilities, PPE, MRO, IT, and various supplies. This role will also be connected to Bright Farms’ parent company and legal team for contract creation and economies of scale. This individual will also support the Purchasing department by placing orders on time and improving current processes, this is to ensure business continuity. This is a hybrid role reporting to our Director of Procurement and is based in your home office with up to 1-2 days per week in our beautiful, dog friendly Irvington, NY office just steps away from the Metro North Hudson line and easily commutable from the tri state region.
